Steel Challenge

See info about our upcoming Steel Challenges here. You must prepay, etransfer to lambtonsportsman@gmail.com. Registration begins at 9:00am. Mandatory Safety meeting at 9:45am then shooting starts at 10:00am. Match cost: $10 for male members or $5 for female members, and $15 for male non-members or $10 for female non-members (pack a lunch - food and snacks will not be available). Minimum rounds per stage is 25 and misses can be made up, so bring lots of ammo. Handgun calibers from .22 to .45 accepted (no magnum rounds) - rifles in handgun calibers are accepted. There are 6 stages and stages are 25 rounds each and shot from stationary position. This is a fun shoot so don’t be worried about other shooters, just come and have fun. We keep score but again it’s just for fun. Revolvers and Semi-autos will be in separate categories, as well as .22 and centre fire firearms. Precision .22 Shooting
2026: April 25th, May 30th, June 27th, July 25th, August 29th, September 26th, October 31st
Registration begins at 9:00am. Mandatory Safety meeting at 9:45am then shooting starts at 10:00am. .22 Rimfire rifles only, any action. 10 rounds per stage, 100 rounds max. Stages set by match director. Youths (under 18) shoot free with a paid adult shooter. Contact Ken Fowler at 519-337-9058 (7pm-9pm weekdays only for calls please) for more information.

50 Yard Range In Use Every Tuesday: Every Tuesday afternoon the 50 yard range will be in use for retiree steel shooting. For questions or more information contact Russ at 519-402-2882.
